Welcome to the Club Brewer!
This newsletter is designed to deliver valuable information and resources to Vassar Club
alumnae/i volunteers in a fun fashion. I encourage you to utilize the resources provided by AAVC to maintain and strengthen your connections to Vassar College and members of our alumnae/i network. My role in this process is to provide guidance and support for programming efforts initiated by individual clubs, as well as administer regional programming through the Speakers Network Program. Thank for your dedication and unyielding support of Vassar College.

Please take a moment to share your thoughts about this inaugural issue of the Club Brewer by completing a short online survey.

Salve,

Charlene Larson ’05
Assistant Director of Alumnae/i Relations

Alumnae and Alumni of Vassar College

Mission Statement

The mission of AAVC is to lead the alumnae/i in advancing the interests of Vassar College.

Vision Statement

AAVC will be relevant to the alumnae/i and to Vassar College by sustaining a sense of community, maintaining traditions, sharing resources, fostering connections, and encouraging a lifelong desire to know.

Make A Difference Day

On Saturday, October 22 thousands of individuals will be volunteering in their communities to make a difference. Take advantage of this opportunity to challenge your alumnae/i membership to take action and get involved in the community. Remember you can make a difference in the lives of others whether it is a cleaning event at a local park or waterfront, serving the homeless at a soup bank, or engaging the residents of a nursing home. Let AAVC know what activities you have in store for this day of national volunteerism.
