VIEW: Vassar Inspiration & Education Weekend
Friday, September 19, 2008 - Saturday, September 20, 2008
This past fall, AAVC introduced a new on-campus program. Vassar Inspiration and Education Weekend (VIEW) was created as a Vassar-style homecoming for all alumnae/i to come back and experience the Vassar of today. The invitations to the events taking place on Friday have been extended to Vassar volunteers only.
By now you should have received information regarding this year’s events and the link to register online, along with a link to the weekend highlights. Friday’s “Volunteer Appreciation Day” will include lunch with volunteers and students from your local area and information sessions for class, fund raising, club, reunion planners, and admissions volunteers. Dinner will follow later in the evening to honor the AAVC Outstanding Service to Vassar Award recipient, Eleanor (Fay) Gambee ’62. Saturday will have an array of events such as classroom experiences, athletic events, student productions, tours, and dinner with remarks from President Hill.
We encourage you to come back this year and experience the Vassar of today. For more information and a schedule of events please visit our website.
