Undergraduate Outreach
AAVC plans a number of programs designed to bring alumnae/i and undergraduates in contact. Whether working with campus student groups on their initiatives or bringing alumnae/i back to campus for other programs, part of our mission is to connect the many parts of the Vassar community.
Our annual programs include:
Vassar in the Rearview Mirror—a collaborative effort with the office of student employment, ALANA Center, and Career Development to help prepare the seniors for life after graduation.
Pre-Scream Ice Scream—an opportunity to meet and network with the AAVC board of directors and college trustees over delicious frozen treats.
Convocation Speaker—an alumna/us presents the senior class with the banner they will use at reunions as alumnae/i.
