Driving and Parking on Campus
“Vassar does not have a parking problem, it has a walking problem.” There are special lots designated for reunion and shuttles will run back and forth from the lots throughout the weekend. Alumnae/i are asked to respect all parking restrictions, especially in the fire lanes in front of residence halls. If you need to drop off your luggage, please do so without parking in front of the residence hall, and move your car immediately. We cannot guarantee or reserve parking spaces for anyone, even those with handicapped plates.
The map at right highlights in Yellow (with horizontal stripes) designated parking areas for Reunion (South Lot, North Lot, and parking behind Joss). Road Alert!
The traffic lights on Raymond Avenue, the road that runs in front of Main Gate, have been replaced by roundabouts at College Avenue and in front of Main Gate. The entrance through Main Gate is now one way into campus.
