Vassar Stories Project

For three days in June, Reunion staff and volunteers, along with several generations of alumnae/i enjoy a weekend rich in shared experiences. We have the opportunity to talk with alumnae/i and hear recollections of diverse Vassar experiences: exciting times from undergraduate years, tales of setback and growth, and reflections on how a Vassar education shaped lives. And, each year, we say to one another, “We should collect these incredible stories.”

This year AAVC is collaborating with Esther Ehrlich ’83, a professional oral historian, to record the stories of Vassar alumnae/i. While we have no definite plans for the anecdotes and reminiscences, we believe it is important to gather them.

As Reunion Weekend draws near, more information will become available and we, at AAVC, hope you will consider sharing your story. For more information, please contact AAVC at 845.437.5447.
