Tour the idyllic seaside resort of San Sabastián, where you enjoy a free afternoon to explore on your own. Visit the infamous city of Guernika, a city reduced to rubble by a bombing raid in the Spanish Civil War, to learn about the significance of this dreadful event in Basque history. Exclusive visits to local artists’ studios, meals in private homes, and lectures by Professor Woods will also be offered as we learn about the cultural wealth and history of Bilbao and the Basque country.
