Klytemnestra’s Unmentionables
— an innovative interpretation of five Classical Greek females first
created as Bradford Louryk’s ’00 (pictured, in costume) senior drama
project at Vassar — recently concluded a successful run in New York
City. The lip-synched, multi-media exploration of gender was presented
by Studio 42, a company comprised of recent Vassar and Wesleyan grads.
At the time of its one-year anniversary in January, Studio 42 (named
after the college residence of several of its founding members, TA-42)
had produced three plays, a concert, two benefits, the readings of
three new plays, and an alternative performance series. For more
information, visit www.studio-42.org, or call 212.330.7122.
